L.Co Mobile Team helped optimize the finishing process specifically for PMA's production line. Faster drying time and fixing problems on the line rather than post finishing was the key result driving efficiency.
Sharing like minded ethical goals of sustainability, it has been a pleasure to work with PMA Furniture Design since 2020. Our long term commitment to seeing PMA grow and expand shows us what a sucessful partnership should look like.
The challenge
Mass production lines need to be fast and reliable. Wanting a sustainable natural oil finish was important, and speeding up the drying time was even more important.
The approach
L.Co Mobile Support Team analyzed PMA's production line and optimized the application process and drying process to enable a mass production run that did not compromise quality over time.

Consistency.
By using Chromalign, we were able to adjust the tone of the wood, taking red out and blending the sap into a neutral tone that passed QC / QA inspection.
The result
An efficient production line where we introduce our unique Observe, Check, and Adjust process, we are able to catch fixes on the line, instead of waiting for a post finishing review.

L.Co Mobile Support Team trained the resort maintenance staff on a Prepare, Color, and Protect routine built for outdoor exposure.
The timeline
Training and first application ran over one week, with the routine handed fully to the resort own maintenance team.

Refinishing interval stretched from every season to once a year, and furniture stayed guest-ready year round.
